How is the daily drawdown calculated?
Your daily drawdown is measured from your equity at the start of the day, and it can't exceed a fixed percentage of your initial account balance.
Formula
Daily floor = Equity at the start of the day − (Initial account balance × Daily drawdown %)
If your equity falls below the daily floor, the daily drawdown rule is breached. Equity includes your open positions' floating profit and loss, and fees.
Daily drawdown limits
- Hyro Core: 3% of your initial balance
- Hyro Instant: 3% of your initial balance
- One-Step: 4% of your initial balance
- Two-Step: 5% of your initial balance
- Zero-Step (no longer sold; existing accounts keep these rules): 3% of your initial balance
The same limit applies in every phase, including the funded account.
Example: One-Step, $5,000 account
- Daily limit: 4% × $5,000 = $200
- Equity at the start of the day: $4,900
- Daily floor: $4,900 − $200 = $4,700
If your equity falls below $4,700 at any point that day, the rule is breached. The starting point resets every day at 00:00 UTC.
